We are Diana and Ves. I did Womenswear at Central Saint Martins and worked as a freelance designer. Ves was a structural engineer. We started Tuderhoff an year ago, but loved vintage furniture and design for ages.
We stock iconic and unknown furniture, art, ceramics and lighting from the 20th century. We don't concentrate on names, but we love great shapes and unexpected colours. I usually trust my instincts and buy what I feel is beautiful and different. We do admire the grand names in design like Gio Ponti, Tobia Scarpa, Carlo Mollino, Vico Magistretti, most of the Scandinavian mid century designers and we love the Bauhaus school.
We have two children, so vintage school furniture is always on our books.
If you need furniture for your photo shoot or trade fair, all of our stuff can be hired.
We have now moved into our own showroom :
Unit 3, Highams Business Estate, 112 Blackhorse Lane, E17 6SH, Walthamstow, London, 5 min away from Blackhorse Road tube station on the Victoria Line.
It is open on Thursdays and Saturdays, 10- 5pm and any day by appointment.
